Adarga showcases geopolitical intelligence software at Europe’s leading risk conference
UK-headquartered AI Leader, Adarga, publicly unveiled to the commercial sector its AI-driven Vantage software at the ASIS Europe – From Risk to Resilience conference in Vienna.
“In today’s uncertain world, organisations can no longer afford to take a reactive approach to geopolitical risk management,” explains Sam Olsen, Adarga’s vice president of geopolitics, “Adarga Vantage has been developed to help leaders avert the threats posed by geopolitical instability and ultimately make better informed decisions by deriving rapid insight and foresight from a rich picture of information.”
Vantage augments human intelligence, enabling analysts to offload the cognitive burden of time-consuming tasks such as information collection and processing so they can focus on critical analysis.
The software is in use with research and analyst teams at leading multinational enterprises and specialist risk advisories, as well as deployed widely with military and national security customers.
Leading intelligence firm 14 North, for example, has been using Vantage software to supercharge its team’s research capabilities as it delivers vital geopolitical risk analysis to a growing global customer base. The company’s CEO, William Linder, describes Vantage as a “game changer” that has enabled analysts to securely fuse insights from past reports with emerging open-source data. “It’s a powerful combination that saves us time, driving efficiency, productivity, and quality of outputs,” Linder said.
Vantage enables analysts and planners to build a unified risk pictured from millions of curated sources in more than 75 languages and deliver dynamic insight and improved foresight to decision-makers.
Vantage leverages a mix of natural language processing, network science, and machine learning technology. It applies sophisticated human-machine teaming, extracting, summarising, and connecting large volumes of in-house and open-source information and presenting it in comprehensible formats - with fully evidenced outputs for further interrogation.
Vantage has been proven to act as a force-multiplier for analyst teams, driving efficiencies and productivity so they can achieve results over 20x faster, use 300% more sources and importantly, enrich the quality of outputs.
Vantage is also used by the Adarga Research Institute (ARI) to power its geopolitical and geoeconomic research and analysis services. The ARI is made up of world-class analysts with decades of experience and is working with businesses and government to drive unparalleled insight on the fast-changing international order for better informed decision making.
Teamed with Adarga’s highly curated, proprietary geopolitical data sets and use-case specific models that can be tailored specifically to the needs of the customer, the ARI is providing organisations with a vital capability to understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what could happen next so they can act decisively.
