Artificial Intelligence (AI) has exploded into public consciousness in 2023. Terms such as ChatGPT, generative AI, Large Language Models are now household terms familiar to all of us. We have also seen those who have been instrumental in developing AI calling for regulation and campaigning for its responsible deployment. As a result, governments and international organisations across the world have been struggling with the question of how to regulate this revolutionary technology.
