Dr Daniel Clarke joins Adarga
We are delighted to announce that Dr Daniel Clarke has joined Adarga as Head of Applied Science.
In this role, Dan will engage closely with our customers, bridging the gap between technology, research and our market, to ensure our latest research and development activities make it all the way to our users to bring them the greatest impact and support their mission focussed outcomes.
He will be pivotal in shaping and guiding our research and development strategy, ensuring it provides an effective framework for applying our new natural language, machine learning and network science innovations into our production platform to help solve our customers most pressing information challenges.
Dan has deep technical expertise in applying Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning) across a number of fields over the past decade, including Defence and Security and Autonomous Systems.
He has a particular interest in the practical application of science in Defence, leveraging technology to help solve real-world challenges, and how to better understand the mass of ML generated results can be understood succinctly and effectively - essentially in supporting Adarga’s mission to help our customers make the best possible use of AI, information and data.
Dan holds a PhD in Astrophysics from University of Innsbruck. After completing his PhD he worked in the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), reconciling an array of complex information systems and data for military applications. He brings to Adarga a wealth of experience and knowledge from his time working in both the academic and private sectors, including fortiss, Mentor Graphics/Siemens and Cranfield University.
