Adarga appoints Elizabeth Linder as Chief Diplomatic Officer

As an industry first, the role of CDO signals the importance of geostrategic cooperation in defence tech innovation for national security.

Adarga is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Linder as Chief Diplomatic Officer. Elizabeth brings with her a wealth of expertise at the intersection of technology, government, and global alliance-building.

“Innovation in artificial intelligence is at an incredibly exciting crossroad, and the stakes are high for getting it right.” said Elizabeth.  “Adarga is at the forefront of introducing powerful, trusted AI technology into the very spheres that need it most, in a world where the ability to understand and act on the exploding volumes of information in a timely way has become a competitive imperative. I look forward to working with the Adarga team and our international partners as we build global coalitions worthy of 21st century defence innovation.”

The recent Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Statement of Intent signed by the United Kingdom and the United States illustrates the extraordinary importance of doubling down on cooperation amongst tech and government leaders in the industry. “Elizabeth’s background as a private sector diplomat reinforces one of the key values in Adarga’s mission as we strengthen international ties and build fresh coalitions to introduce the best of software innovation to the national security ecosystem,” said CEO and Founder Rob Bassett Cross.

Elizabeth will serve as Adarga's Chief Diplomatic Officer in an industry first, pioneering a role that is much needed to bridge tech innovation between the public and private sectors internationally.

She will continue to serve as Director of the Kinross House Meetings, co-Chair of the St. James’s Roundtable at Chatham House, and CEO of Brooch Associates, an advisory firm led entirely by women. Elizabeth also sits on the Advisory Board of D Group, Medicines for Malaria Venture, and the Ditchley Foundation.

A Princeton graduate, she has her background at Google/YouTube and Facebook, where she served as the company’s first “secretary of state” in the role of Politics & Government Specialist and represented the voice of 21st century tech innovation across the UK Home Office, US European Command, Nato, and national-level government offices in more than fifty countries.

Elizabeth will serve as an invaluable asset to the Adarga leadership team. She will initially split her time between Adarga’s London offices and its growing presence in the United States.
